Introducing our vision for the lineup of Artists and Musicians
at this first World Mouth Harp Festival of India:
• A cultural focus on Mouth Harpists from each of the different parts of India in which this instrument is traditionally made and played in Indian Folk and Classical music.
• A spirit of open participation, in which we offer an opportunity for anyone to participate, with an open mic for individuals to perform and play the Mouth Harp in their own style for all present.
• A presentation of bands that feature the Mouth Harp in their music of any style, tradition, or genre, or any band open to incorporating Mouth Harpists into their performance for an added dimension of exciting fusion.
• An emphasis on active collaboration and improvisation between Mouth Harps and all other instruments, for the pure beauty of jamming and creating something new, and for establishing a recognized place for the Mouth Harp as an accompaniment and/or solo instrument among contemporary musicians in India.

From Mouth Harp passion to graphic design, sound engineering to marketing, sponsorship research & artist management to professional event production, we’re coming together, right now.
With our first conceptualizing & brainstorming team meeting already in the works to travel to Goa to meet and co-create here this weekend, now is the time to join in too and become involved in the fun of taking this away!
